Florida Law Schools

University of Florida Law School is the most prestigious school of law in the state of Florida.  Located in Gainesville, Florida, it’s also one of the largest law schools in the country.  It’s touted as a fantastic bargain, especially for in-state students, and more than 1200 students per year take advantage of this.

Florida Law Schools abound, so how to choose a good program?  Look for schools that do these seven basic things:

1. Professors have real world experience, worked in firms, clerked for top judges, and they can draw on those experiences.
2. Intellectual quality in the classroom, teach students the language of law.  Body of work done by professors is great, professors know the law.  Learning from people who know the law so well is a draw.
